Overview
Desktop Configuration Management (DCM) is a service offering from IT Services for use by technical support staff. It is intended to provide a USD standardized image, standardized configuation settings, and consistent software offerings on desktop and laptop computers. This service is available for both Windows and Macintosh computers.
Available to
Staff, Faculty Faculty and staff. Note that students who order "Torero Ready" computers through the bookstore are entitled to DCM services.

Requirements
A computer running Windows XP, Windows 7, or Mac OS X 10.6 and above.
Data security restrictions
May be used for university computers; faculty, staff computers, lab, library and public computers. Systems will be required to have anti-virus and anti spyware software installed and operating system updates in place.

For DCM assistance, please submit a request to the Help Desk at help@sandiego.edu or by calling 619-260-7900. A desktop technician will be assigned to handle the request.
Rates
Free of charge for computers purchased through ITS.
