Microsoft SharePoint is a web-based tool for managing content. It provides common collaboration and productivity tools — including document libraries, wikis, blogs, discussion forums, event calendars, announcements, and task lists.

Staff, Faculty Faculty and staff (Departments, Groups and Organizations at USD).

Requirements
A supported web browser. Sharepoint is typically not provisioned for individuals but is provided to groups, organizations, and departments.
Data security restrictions
USD Active Directory credentials are required.
Support
ITS provides support for Sharepoint through a combination of groups. The NISS group supports the administrative aspects of SharePoint servers and access to sites. The EASS group assists departments in the setup and configuration of SharePointe sites. EASS also provides training and support for end users of SharePoint. Getting started
(1) Employees – please log into the MySanDiego Portal (my.sandiego.edu/ ), select the employee tab, and select New ITS_EASS Project Request. Please ensure that you list the fundamental purpose and details about you need for a Sharepoint site.
(2) Students – please submit requests for SharePoint sites via email to: bi@sandiego.edu.
