Website Image Regulations/Standards

Main Image: always used on the site landing page, see http://www.sandiego.edu/its for an example
1. dimensions are 465 x 150
2. left image is 105 x 150 px
3. right image is 359 x 150 px
4. a 1 px vertical white line separates the two images
5. one font layer with name of page/site
6. the baseline of the font should be at 50 px
7. text is 35 px Myriad Roman
8. use shadows or other effects on text as needed to differentiate text from back image
9. radius on the left and right bottom parts of the image is 5 px
10. final image should be saved as SH_name_main.jpg
Text Image: normally used on sub-pages, see http://www.sandiego.edu/its/support/directory.php for an example
1. dimensions are 465 x 50
2. one font layer with name of page/site
3. background color is #83A5C3
4. the baseline of the font should be at 50 px
5. text is 35 px Myriad Roman
6. no shadows or other effects on the text
7. final image should be saved as SH_name.gif
Images can be placed within content regions of sites at the maintainer's discretion, however all images must have rounded corners (5 px radius)
