The University of San Diego Desktop Technicians are experts in the field of information technology. They are generally reserved for faculty and staff members of the University . The Desktop Techs specialize in software and hardware troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance. Though they are specialist in this field they are not limited to this area as they also provided services to mobile phones and email setup.

Our trained computer Desktop technicians can provide you with information about what products might work best for you and your work demands. Computer technicians can review system specifications and answer questions about backup and storage media options available on computers. They can also arrange for you to view Windows-based machines. For those interested in viewing Macintosh machines, please visit the Computer Department at the USD Bookstore where there are Towers, iBooks, and iMacs on display.

How do I Get Help?

The Desktop Technician services are reserved for faculty and staff members who can get help by contacting the Help Desk to create a ticket or set up an appointment.
