The iTeam offers training on all of the Supported Technology on our web site. In addition, faculty and staff from across the university conduct sessions on their areas of technical expertise on a volunteer basis.

Looking for self-help training materials on a specific technology? Visit the Supported Technology section, click on the tech you need and access the materials at the bottom of the page.

How do I get training?

The iTeam offers training courses in a computer lab setting, but also can meet one-on-one with you in our offices in Maher Hall if need be.

To view and register for currently scheduled training courses, click on Current Training Calendar and Workshop Registration.

Don’t see the class you need?  If we get enough requests we can put a session together.

Volunteer To Train

Have an area of expertise you’d like to share with faculty and staff?   Faculty and have been volunteering to offer training sessions at USD for years.  It is a great way to share your knowledge and meet other members of the university community.

Additionally, at the end of a semester, a drawing is held for trainers to win a prize.  For each session you conduct, a chip is put into a hat.  The more chips you have, the greater the chance of winning.  The most recent give-away was an iPod.

To volunteer to offer a session, just email the iTeam at: iTeam@sandiego.edu
