The Course Improvement Program was launched in Fall, 2007. To date, the iTeam has worked with eighteen professors and courses since its inception with very positive results and feedback from faculty and the students who use the courses. The academic disciplines have varied considerably and included Psychology, Accounting, Operations Management, Sociology, and independent study courses.
The need to create, alter or re-organize materials and courses for online delivery can be a perplexing and time consuming process, but one that will greatly benefit your students and you in the long run. We can ease the burden.
The Course Improvement Program can help you:
- Reorganize your course and content to make more accessible
- Customize your course to make it more aesthetically pleasing
- Develop linear learning modules that take your students through the course material in a well planned and easy to follow manner
- Enhance your online presence: take it from a text only environment to something that is rich with audio/video/web content (if desired)
Selection is based on application dates on a first-in-first served basis. Space is limited so apply early.
Completion of the re-design process will make your course ready for the following semester, so it is best to plan on taking the entire semester to prepare and ready your course for going live.
The process begins with an application, followed by an initial consultation to assess your needs and evaluate tasks and technologies to be implemented in order to achieve the desired results.
To apply, send an email to iTeam by the application deadline.
