We assume that you can get access to the CE (WebCT/Blackboard) at USD entry page at http://pope.sandiego.edu.
Most problems logging into CE are caused by users entering their password, or username incorrectly.
When entering a password, please make sure that your CAPS LOCK is off and that you type carefully. Passwords and user names are case sensitive. This means that "MyPasSwRd" is not the same as "mypasswrd".
Please follow the instructions below to determine why you cannot get access to My Courses
1) From the CE homepage at http://pope.sandiego.edu, click on the My Courses link. You should get a pop up window asking you for a login name and password. Enter your UNET (USD email) user name and password.
If your email address is joeys@sandiego.edu - you would enter "joeys" as your user name. If you get the "Authorization Failed" error, go on to step 2.
Otherwise, if you get access to your My Courses but are getting errors further on in CE, please submit a support request.
2) If you get an "Authorization Failed" error, we need to determine if you are using the correct password. Go to http://mirapoint.sandiego.edu. Login here with your UNET login and Password. If you get the "Authorization Failed" error here, and you DO NOT use AOL, you are probably entering the wrong password. You need to request a password change by going to Serra 205. Remember to wait at least an hour to allow the passwords to update. If you still have problems after requesting a new password, please submit a support request.
***If you DO use AOL, try getting access to http://mirapoint.sandiego.edu from one of the public terminals in a lab or in Aromas. If you can get access on campus, then you are having a problem with your AOL/browser configuration. If you still can't get access, then you are using the wrong password, and need to request a password by going to Serra 205.
If your problem is due to an AOL misconfiguration please submit a support request.
