Academic Technology Services (ATS) is an integral part of the Information Technology Services (ITS) organization. ATS consists of the following units: Academic Systems Support, Computing Labs, Desktop Support Services, Instructional Support and Training and Instructional Media Services. Feb 15 - Technology Showcase and Open House: This year for the first time we have added a student event to the schedule in the morning. Another first: keynote speaker Tracy Mitrano from Cornell University will discuss copyright at the opening lunch session.
Past events
Jan 24 & 25 - Technology Boot Camp:Faculty needing assistance with educational technology are encouraged to drop-in during Boot Camp hours. Whether it's a consultation, just-in-time assistance, Blackboard or classroom console training you need, you will find help at Boot Camp!
Tech Talk at Boot Camp - Jan 25 at 2pm: In conjunction with the Center for Educational Excellence we will be hosting a Tech Talk entitled, "Taking Command of Classroom Technology" featuring Dr. Jack Pope. Please visit the CEE web site for complete details and to register.
Blackboard (1/24) and Apple (1/25) will be joining us at noon each day and providing lunch (to the first 25) as they update us about new features, products and apps that might be of interest to you!
