Banner/MySanDiego Error Messages

As of 11:55am, users are receiving error messages using the Banner system and with certain channels in the MySanDiego portal. The Banner team is aware of the problem and is working towards a resolution.
Unfortunately, we do not currently have an estimated time of repair.

Beginning on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at 8pm through Monday, May 28, 2012 at 6am, Information Technology Services (ITS) will be completing an upgrade affecting the wireless network. Wireless users will experience brief network outages during this time affecting access to email, web servers and Internet. The wired network will remain unaffected during this wireless upgrade.

Exchange 2010 Migrations Underway

ITS has begun moving users to the new Exchange 2010 servers, a process that will take most of May/June to complete. Staff/Faculty will be emailed before their mailbox is scheduled to be upgraded to 2010. Mail will continue to flow to/from your mail program until the move is complete, at which point you need to restart your mail program. This will allow you to access all the new features of Exchange 2010, including the new version of Outlook Web Apps (exchange.sandiego.edu).
During this transition to the new Exchange 2010 servers, the MySanDiego portal will not automatically log you in to the Exchange system. When you click the Email button in MySanDiego, you will be prompted for your username/password - please use your AD username and AD password to log in.
After your Exchange mailbox is moved to the 2010 server, you will receive one of the following messages:
OUTLOOK 2007/2010 FOR WINDOWS:
You will receive a message "The Exchange administrator has made a change that requires you quit and restart Outlook." Please close and reopen Outlook - your mail program will automatically connect to the new server and continue receiving email.
OUTLOOK 2011 FOR MAC:
You will receive a message "The Client Access Server version does not match the accessed resource's Mailbox". Please close and reopen Outlook - your mail program will automatically connect to the new server and continue receiving email.
MAC MAIL / iCAL / ENTOURAGE:
When your mailbox is moved, your mail program will stop receiving mail (and will not give an error message). You will need to manually change your mail program to point to exchange.sandiego.edu instead of legacy.sandiego.edu. Please call the ITS Help Desk for any assistance with making this change.
iPHONE/iPAD:
Your device should automatically change to the new exchange.sandiego.edu server without any message or interaction. If mail stops flowing, please try restarting your device.
ANDROID PHONE:
When your mailbox is moved, your Android phone will stop receiving mail (and will give a standard error message). Users will need to manually change your Android Phone to point to exchange.sandiego.edu instead of legacy.sandiego.edu. Please call the ITS Help Desk for any assistance with making this change.
