The IRC serves as an advisory group to the CIO and Provost. The IRC considers issues, policy, planning, and the direction of information technology and associated services in a representative committee structure to promote cooperation, coordination, and effective uses of information technology at the University of San Diego. Particular emphasis will be given to technology that advances teaching, learning, and research activities. The IRC meets three times per year, and all meetings are open. The Council considers matters brought to it for advisement and also initiates recommendations as needed.
