Telecommunication Support Specialist
I work with our department's daily office operations. I assist faculty, staff and students with problems regarding voicemail setup, passwords, or their phone line. I also maintain a database of phone subscribers which is used for processing and sending monthly telephone billing statements to University departments, provides changes to USD's online campus directory, and is used to provide location information to SBC/PSAP for 911 calls dialed from campus. I also coordinate vendor services for pagers, cellular phone, and calling cards for department administrators.
