As a web developer within Library and Web Services, Cristina is responsible for the coordination, design, development, and implementation of client websites, ensuring conformity with general web standards and university brand guidelines. She also instructs classes in the IT Training program and provides administrative support for the USD Sites (Wordpress) system. In addition, Cristina leads custom web projects and initiatives on behalf of the University Web Services team.
For the Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering, she provides strategic planning for the school website and assists departmental maintainers with the use of Cascade Server, among other peripheral web systems. She also coordinates and develops website redesigns for the school.
Cristina’s professional background includes web design and development, print design, typography, structured data, and concept development. Her strengths also include project management, client relations, information architecture, SEO practices, and third-party integrations.
