Workshop Registration Help

Register for Tutorials: Once you decided on seminar you would like to attend, this link will take you to our online registration link. You will need your University of San Diego MySanDiego account username and password to register for any of our tutorials online. You also have the option of calling extension 4810 to register.

From the IT_Training Home page

Click on " Register for Workshops "  link on the left bar.

  1. You will enter the online registration page where your USD username and password (your MySanDiego account username and password) is required to log in. 
  2. Once you logged in successfully, choose from the category of courses listed on the left such as "Business Development" or "Internet Training."  Next you will click on the desired course.
  3. Click on the date and time offered (it may be offered several times within each semester).
  4. Read the description, requirements, and any pre-requisites.
  5. Click on the button of "Sign-up for..".  You can proceed to sign up for more than one class by going back to the "category" and choosing a different class and proceed with above instruction. 
  6. Click on link of "My Classes" on the left column to see all classes that you have signed up for.
  7. Please click  on " Logout " once you are done with your online course registration.
  8. You will receive an email reminder three days prior to each class meeting.
  9. Please come back to this same link to " Cancel " if you find that you are unable to attend a class.  Cancellation must be at least 48 hours prior to class meeting so that the instructor could plan accordingly, and so that we could begin calling students that maybe on a wait list. We thank you for your cooperation.

Here is sample and description of what your screen may look like when you click on "Online Self Registration".

  1. Notice that we have categories of classes on the left column such as "Business Development Sessions" or "Multimedia and Desktop Pushing"
  2. Once you click on a category, you will see list of courses offered in that category in the middle column
  3. Once you choose a class to attend, a third column will show up on the right which showing dates offered.- click on the date that you wish to sign up for the class
  4. A detailed description of the course, pre-requisites and other pertinent information will show up
  5. Below the description you can click on the button "Sign up for.."

Registration

Once you review your course description and requirement, click on the " Sign up for... " button to register online.

Cancel Tutorials: If a conflict will prevent you from attending a seminar, please be sure to cancel your registration 48 hours in advance. We have a wait list for some of our popular sessions, we print documentation for some classes and an instructor volunteers the time to offer his/her technical expertise to our program. For all listed reasons, we appreciate your effort in notifying us. You can cancel classes online by logging in to the online registration area and click on the registered course and then click on the " Cancel My Registration " button, or by simply calling extension x4810 .
