CE6 Course Improvement Program
- Are you interested in improving your CE6 course by creating a more media rich interface for your students?
- Would you like to learn more about the tools that are available and see how to use them in your material delivery?
Many of our faculty members have taken advantage of the Course Improvement Program that we launched Fall of '07, we will again be offering this for Fall '08. As you begin to think about these upcoming semesters, also think about how you might like to enhance/improve your CE6 class. We in Instructional Design and Training would like to engage a few willing faculty members!
Whether you are delivering most of your course material via this learning management system already or simply using it as a support tool, there are a number of things that are now available to you that will help you to create a more robust and media rich environment, and also make your life a lot easier! In addition to the new Wimba Live Classroom (a product similar to WebEx for those of you familiar with online conferencing services), there are also Voice Tools (voice announcments and podcasting) and the new Streaming Media Server to support your use of audio and video. Additionally, we have just completed the construction of our video production studio featuring Adobe Visual Communicator, a do-it-yourself studio which can be booked so that you can work at your leisure.
Please call or email to be added to the list if you are interested in overhauling your CE6 course! We hope to once again have faculty representation from all of the schools here on campus. Your interest in the past has been phenomenal and some great things have resulted!
