Affiliated/Exchange Semester Programs
Students participating in one of USD's affiliated or exchange semester programs will receive two bills.
BILL #1: Tuition & International Insurance (billed by USD)
Tuition and international medical insurance for the affiliated/exchange semester programs are billed directly to the student's USD account and are made payable to the University of San Diego. Tuition is equivalent to the on-campus USD full-time undergraduate tuition rate (see current tuition rates) and does not include room and board. Tuition and international insurance fees must be paid in full to USD ten days prior to study abroad program start date. Arrangements for payment of these fees may be made through the USD Office of Student Financial Services. Depending upon individual awards, financial aid recipients may sign a waiver for the deferment of these fees. Note: The USD tuition installment plan is NOT available for study abroad. Tuition remission may NOT be used for USD affiliated semester programs.
BILL #2: Program Fees (billed by affiliate/exchange program)
All other program fees (i.e. room and board, sponsored program excursions, etc.) are billed by and paid directly to the affiliated institution. Please contact the affiliate institution for more information about this bill.
