Issues
and conflict are an inevitable part of intimate relationships.
What distinguishes a happy and successful couple from a distressed
couple is their ability to deal with issues or conflict in a constructive
manner. Developing strong communication skills such as those described
in the previous unit is one important aspect to effectively handling
issues that might arise in relationships. Couples also need good
problem-solving skills. This unit will present a problem-solving
approach that couples can use for any type of issue, whether of
a religious nature or not.
