Grandparents Weekend: A host of events, organized by USD’s Parent Relations office, will take place to welcome the grandparents of all USD students to campus.

Daily Mass: Founders Chapel, 12:15 p.m.

Women’s Swimming & Diving: USD at Western Athletic Conference Championships, San Antonio, TX., 11 a.m.

Men’s Tennis: USD vs. Pacific at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo tennis courts, 1:30 p.m.

Baseball: San Diego State at USD, 2 p.m., Cunningham Stadium. Tickets are $10 for adult reserved seats and $5 for adult general admission.

Chamber Music Recital: Alyze Dreiling (violin), Angela Yeung (cello) and Linda Scott (piano) perform an all-Schubert music program at 7:30 p.m. in the French Parlor in Founders Hall. Tickets, available only at the door, are $10 general admission, $8 for seniors, USD faculty, staff and alumni, and $5 for students with ID card.

Friday Night Movie: The USD Associated Students are sponsoring a free screening of “Brothers” at 9 p.m. in the second-level student lounge across from Tu Mercado.

Saturday, February 27

Rowing: Men’s and women’s crew teams compete in the San Diego City Championships, Mission Bay, 7 a.m.

Women’s Swimming & Diving: USD at Western Athletic Conference Championships, San Antonio, TX., 11 a.m.

Women’s Track & Field: USD at West Coast Challenge tri-meet with host Pepperdine and Loyola Marymount, Malibu, Calif., 10 a.m.

All Sports Fun Day: Students can participate in a free sports fun day from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the USD Sports Center gym and pool deck. Play ping pong, basketball, tennis, volleyball and more. Free food, a disc jockey, prizes and giveaways. Team registration is available at (619) 260-7751.

Women’s Tennis: USD at Loyola Marymount, Los Angeles, noon.

America the Beautiful: A free screening of this documentary film will be shown at 1 p.m. and a discussion follows with guest Carolyn Costin in the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace & Justice Theater. The event is sponsored by USD’s Center for Health and Wellness Promotion.

The Country Wife: Students in the Old Globe/USD Master’s of Fine Arts program perform William Wycherley’s production, directed by Ray Chambers. The 8 p.m. show is the first of five performances at the Studio Theatre in Sacred Heart Hall (Feb. 27-28 and March 2-4). Tickets are $10 general admission, $8 for students, seniors and active military.

Saturday Night Live Concert Series: The City Walls will perform a free show at 7:30 p.m. in the Student Life Pavilion’s Plaza Mayor.

Sunday, February 28

Ski Trip: The Experiential Learning and Adventure Center provides USD students and non-students transportation and a one-day lift ticket to Big Bear Mountain Resort for a full day of skiing and snowboarding. Registered participants meet at the center (Hahn University Center, Room 136) at 6 a.m. Cost is $45 for USD students with valid ID and $60 for non-USD students.

Women’s Tennis: Sacramento State at USD, USD West Tennis Courts, 10 a.m.

Baseball: San Diego State at USD, 1 p.m., Cunningham Stadium. Tickets are $10 for adult reserved seats and $5 for adult general admission.
