Applying for Fall study abroad courses in Madrid, Spain? Want to fly to this amazing international destination for free? A round-trip ticket to Madrid, a $1,500 value, is the grand prize in a special drawing hosted by the USD International Center. The drawing is open only to undergraduate students who complete and turn in their fall study abroad application for Madrid by noon on the day of the drawing.
One lucky student will receive the grand prize, but there are two additional prizes in the drawing. One iPad Mini, a $400 value, will be awarded as well as a three-piece luggage set valued at $200.
The drawing helps celebrate the establishment of the USD Madrid Center, the university’s first permanent international studies facility. Officials are signing a lease this month on a 10,000-square-foot space located in the heart of Madrid, next to Retiro Park, near the Prado Museum and tree-lined streets filled with sidewalk cafes, shops and more.
Apply in person for Madrid’s fall study abroad program through the International Center, Serra Hall 315, or register online. Again, the deadline to be entered in the drawing is Monday, March 17. The three prize winners will be announced at 5 p.m.
