Recent Recommendations
One of PABID's charges is to "offer recommendations in support of the University's mission, such as enhancing the University's recruitment, integration, retention and graduation of underrepresented students, faculty, and staff in pursuit of the compositional diversity required to achieve excellence."
PABID has put forth a series of recommendations to President Mary Lyons since its inception in the fall of 2007. Several recommendations have become initiatives or are already operational; others are in various stages of discussion.
