TEACHING HISTORY IN CALIFORNIA MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOLS

The USD history major provides wonderful content preparation for students interested in becoming history teachers at the middle and high school levels. Teaching in the K-12 public schools in the state of California requires a bachelors degree in an appropriate subject area and a California Teaching Credential. USD's School of Leadership and Education Sciences offers teaching credential programs for both undergraduates and graduate students.
