Health Care Informatics Admission Criteria
Certificate Program
- Bachelor's degree from an approved, accredited school
- Basic computer and information management skills
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Basic statistics course
- Minimum of 50 hours as a volunteer in an acute care setting (for non-RNs)
- One year of work experience preferred
- GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Completion of the University Application for the HCI Certificate Program through Division of Professional and Continuing Education
- One official transcript from each college or university attended
- Two professional recommendations
- Resume
- Interview
