Most primary care examinations are free of charge through the collection of the student health fee. There is no co-pay, no deductible. Reasonable fees are charged for prescriptions and over-the-counter medications. Fees are also collected for laboratory tests, procedures, treatments, specialty care services.

Payment: Payment is due at the time of service check, VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express or CampusCash Click here. No cash accepted.

Insurance Coverage: Students are strongly encouraged to have medical insurance to cover at least medical emergencies. The student health fee is not insurance. Student health insurance is offered through Aetna Insurance. Click here

Aetna Student Insurance Billing:  In Fall of 2014 the Student Health Center began billing Aetna Student Health Insurance on behalf of students who purchased the policy through the University.  Students who have the insurance can now be seen and will only have to pay a minimal fee that will be applied to their co-insurance.

Other Insurance Billing:The Student Health Center does not bill third party insurance companies. Some fees may be partially or fully reimbursed by your insurance. Obtain a receipt at check-out in order to submit out-of-pocket expenses to your insurance carrier for reimbursement.

Third-party services: All charges for services provided outside of the SHC, such as emergency or urgent care, referred specialist, radiology imaging, and outside lab testing are the responsibility of the student.

Low-cost clinics: A number of low-cost area clinics are available for medical services. Click here
