MyStudentBody for Parents

The University of San Diego is deeply committed to the wellness and safety, as well as the academic success, of all members of our community.  Accordingly, we would like to thank you for your participation in promoting a safe, responsible, and healthy USD community.  As part of the University of San Diego’s commitment to the well-being of our students and our community, all first-year and transfer students are required to complete the online MyStudentBody “Essentials” course, an alcohol, other drug, and sexual violence prevention program.  This interactive course is designed to increase your student’s knowledge about alcohol, help them think critically about how to reduce high-risk behaviors, and provide them with the tools to support and actively engage in a community that promotes safety and wellness.

All first-year and transfer undergraduate students are required to complete the MyStudentBody course. For specific Part One and Part Two deadlines, depending on when your student has enrolled at USD, please visit the Fall 2015 Important Deadlines or Spring 2016 Important Deadlines pages.

A $250 non-compliance fee will be assessed to students who do not fully complete BOTH portions of the course within the deadlines. This is a non-negotiable, non-compliance fee that will be assessed directly to their student account.

If you would like to learn more about how to support a healthy transition to college by talking with your student about alcohol and other drugs, you can register as a parent on MyStudentBody.com. Here you will also find links to campus policies and resources offered to your student at USD.
