Guadalajara Summer program header

Program Fees

The billing breakdown for the Guadalajara Program is as follows:

Cost for 1-7 units:
Application fee and tuition deposit
: $300*
Room and Board: $1750
Tuition for 1-7 units: $1750

Total for 1-7 units: $3800 ($3700 without the application fee)

Cost for 9 units:
Application fee and tuition deposit: $300*
Room and Board: $1750
Tuition for 9 units: $3075

Total for 9 units: $4925 ($4825 without the application fee)

*$100 waived if student applies before January 1st, 2010

Students who do not pay their balance in full by the first day of classes will not be allowed to attend classes. Summer program loans are available for USD students only through the USD Financial Aid Office.

Financial Aid: Summer program loans are available for USD students through the Office of Financial Aid Services. Loan deferments can be made through Student Accounts. Some scholarships may be available through the College of Arts and Sciences. Please check with the program office for more information. Non-USD students should research financial aid possibilities at their home institution.

Guadalajara Scholarships

Cancellation Policy/ Refunds:
Students who withdraw after June 5th will be charged $1750 program fees in addition to the standard tuition refund policy as seen below:

June 1 100%
June 3 90%
June 5 80%
June 7 70%
June 9 60%
June 11 50%
June 14 40%

Upon written request, refunds will be issued according to the above schedule by the USD Office of Student Accounts. No refunds will be issued on-site in Guadalajara.
