Outstanding Greeks:

The Univeristy of San Diego is proud to recognize the outstanding individual Greeks as well as Greek councils within our community that have truly gone the extra mile in all aspects of life. Each has proven themselves within their chapters or as a council that excellence is attainable and the University commends them for their efforts and successes.

Some council/chapter awards for 2005-2006 include:

• 2003-2005 National Panhellenic Conference's (NPC) Overall Excellence for a College Panhellenic Award
• 2005 Western Regional Greek Association (WRGA) Award for Excellence in Educational Programming
• 2005 WRGA Scholarship Achievement Awards (one for within and another for outside of the Greek community)
• 2005 WRGA Award for University Involvement
• 2005 Dean's Trophy Winner: Kappa Kappa Gamma
• 2006 Gamma Sigma Alpha Award for Academic Excellence of a Panhellenic Community
• 2006 WRGA Award for University Involvement
• 2006 WRGA Award for Outstanding Inter-Greek Relationships
• 2006 WRGA Scholastic Achievement Award

• 2006 WRGA Outstanding Greek Advisor of the Year: Mandy Womack

• 2006 Order of Omega Scholarship Award for Excellence: Kristine Fargotstein, Kappa Kappa Gamma
• 2006 Highest Overall GPA (within the USD Panhellenic Community): Gamma Phi Beta
• 2006 Highest Active Member GPA: Gamma Phi Beta
• 2006 Highest New Member GPA: Alpha Chi Omega
