Greek Week 2008
Every year, the University of San Diego Greek Community hosts a week of activities and events called “Greek Week” in an effort to raise awareness and money for various organizations that are in need of support. In the past, Greek Week has raised funds for the American Red Cross during Hurricane Katrina, the YMCA Community Connections Program, Operation Homefront, and our local Bayside Community Center.
This year, Greek Life has chosen to support Rady Children’s Hospital. Rady Children’s is San Diego region’s only designated pediatric trauma center and the only area hospital dedicated solely to pediatric care.
The 2008 Greek Week has set out three goals that we wish to accomplish. The first is to put emphasis on hands-on service in the community. The second is to involve alumni, and the third is to involve non-Greek affiliated students.
