Become a Recruitment Counselor!

Recruitment counselors serve a vital role before, during and after recruitment for potential new members (PNMs).  They serve as leaders, mentors and guides for the PNMs, helping them successfully move through a values-based recruitment process that allows them to explore their own personal and Panhellenic values.

Panhellenic Formal Recruitment

Formal Recruitment 2017 will be held January 23-28, 2018.  Here at USD, the Sorority Life community is constantly growing and is always excited to welcome new members. Every January, sororities participate in NPC Formal Recruitment. There are seven Panhellenic chapters and two multicultural chapters. Potential New Members, women participating in Formal Recruitment, are able to meet Sorority women, engage in conversations, and learn more about what Sorority life is like firsthand. Recruitment lasts a week and is a rewarding experience and the start to lifelong friendships. We look forward to having you join our community!

Recruitment Rules

These rules were passed by a majority vote during the Spring Recruitment Meetings and ratified by vote of the Panhellenic Council. All chapters and their alumnae are expected to know, understand, and follow all of the recruitment rules. There is an overall expectation of maturity, respect, and Panhellenic friendship for all sorority members, throughout the year, and especially during formal recruitment.
