The Interfraternity Council at USD

In the face of stigmas and controversies, the eight fraternity chapters that make up the University of San Diego Interfraternity Council stand up. Critics call fraternity men poor students, yet USD fraternity men achieve a grade point average higher than that of their non-fraternity counterparts. While American media paints fraternity members as perpetrators of sexual assault, USD fraternity men collaborate with USD sorority women to create and facilitate a campaign in which fraternity and sorority leaders facilitate discussion groups aimed at educating the community about sexual assault awareness, ways to prevent it, and provide support for victims.

Fraternity men at the University of San Diego make a commitment to themselves and their brothers to exemplify academic excellence, leadership, service, and friendship. This commitment influences their growth and they are forever grateful for it.

I invite you to learn more about the Interfraternity Council by exploring our website or attending one of our weekly meetings held each Thursday at 1:00pm in University Center room 103.

Interfraternally,

Forest Lieberman
