Asian Students In Alliance (ASIA)

The purpose for A.S.I.A is to serve as a support network for Asian graduate students and allies through personal and professional development and as a promoter of diversity, justice, and collaboration within the University of San Diego community and local constituents.

Black Graduate Student Association (BGSA)

The Black Graduate Student Association, (BGSA), is an interdisciplinary, student initiated, student-run organization that is dedicated to uniting students, faculty, and alumni to create a sense of pride and community at the University of San Diego. BGSA serves as a support network for graduate students of African descent, and provides resources that will enhance academic and career success of current graduate and professional students. BGSA will make an effort in developing a network of emerging scholars of African descent, who are dedicated and sensitive to the needs and concerns of an increasingly diverse academic community. We encourage scholarship opportunities, promote social connections, community service, inclusion, innovation, and self-determination.

Cyber Security Student Association (CSSA)

The purpose of this organization is to cultivate a community that supports students in their cyber security endeavors through extracurricular activities (conferences and workshops), training, mentoring, networking, and assisting them in remaining at the forefront of cyber security trends.

The mission of the Graduate Business Student Association is to provide a voice to graduate business students and generate unity. This will give students the opportunity to provide a voice and generate unity. Latinx Graduate Student Association (LGSA)

The Latinx Graduate Student Association (LGSA) is an organization dedicated to creating a support and social network for Chicanx/Latinx graduate students at the University of San Diego (USD). We encourage and facilitate communication between graduate students and faculty/staff who identify at Chicanx, Latinx, Afro-Latinx, Mexican/Mexican-American, Filipnx/Filipnx-American and other underrepresented communities at USD through coalition-building and allyship.

LGBTQIA+ Graduate Student Association 

The purpose of LGBTQIA+ Graduate Student Association is to A. Create a community who identifies as and supports LGBTQ+ individuals and allies. B. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space that embraces and connects people of all sexualities, gender identities, and gender expressions. C. Acknowledge, advocate, and celebrate intersectionalities and recognize that individuals are composed of multiple identities. D. Strive to encourage and promote graduate students building coalitions with faculty/staff and other students on campus in order to explore how sexualities and gender identities/expressions shape the student experience.

Master of Arts in International Relations Graduate Student Association (MAIR GSA)

The MAIR GSA connects the graduate students of the MAIR program to the wider University of San Diego (USD) Graduate Student Life program, alumni, and local and international communities and organizations. Through communication and engagement, the MAIR GSA and its Officers represent and advocate on matters of student life and affairs. The desired end state for MAIR GSA plans and actions is to enhance the education, networking, and career development opportunities for students.

Peace and Justice Student Association (PJSA)

To enhance and empower students while adding value to their overall academic experience while at the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies. Actively contribute to the growth and improvement of the Peace and Justice Studies program. Facilitate student participation in the Kroc School. Provide a space for expressing concerns, finding necessary resources, and providing support to all members of the Association. To help bring higher visibility to the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies, not only within the USD community but also on a local, national, and international level.

Student Bar Association (SBA)

The SBA is the student government of the School of Law. SBA members act as the official student representatives and advocate or student interests on many different issues. The SBA is responsible for appointing student representatives to the various law school and university committees. The main goal of the SBA is to represent and serve the student body. To that end, it must determine what university events and issues affect law students, ensure that law students are represented on those issues, and advocate their interests.
