USD PeaceMakers Welcome Nobel News

San Diego Union-Tribune -- Friday’s news that three women won this year’s Nobel Peace Prize was affirming but overdue for a handful of influential people gathered from around the globe through the University of San Diego’s Women PeaceMakers Program.
It was announced in Norway that Tawakkul Karman, who helped lead protests in Yemen, and President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and activist Leymah Gbowee of Liberia had won the prestigious award. (Full Story)
