San Diego Union Tribune -- Mou Riiny left Sudan when he was 7-years-old.
Next year, after he graduates from the University of San Diego, he will return to his remote village of Theou, bringing with him the solar power system that will bring electricity to the new school being built there.
Riiny, one of the Lost Boys of the Sudan, designed and built the system with three fellow USD engineering students for their senior project. It was showcased Friday, along with other students’ work, at the Engineering Department’s open house. (Full Story)
