San Diego Union Tribune -- With 33 vendors, from Apple and Cisco to Tidebreak and WolfVision, offering hands-on demonstrations of their latest education technologies, there was plenty to attract tech-savvy professors.
For the faculty technophobes, there was a varied — and steadily restocked — spread of appetizers and drinks, and the glorious view to Mission Bay from the University of San Diego’s Hahn University Center.
“One of the ways to get some of the Luddites in here is with food and booze,” joked Chris Wessells, USD’s chief information officer.
The event last week was the private university’s fifth annual Faculty Technology Open House. (Full Story)
