As assistant director of University Publications, Mike Sauer is responsible for copywriting and editing academic publications, brochures, newsletters and myriad other collateral projects and pieces created to raise USD's local, national and international profile. He also serves as a staff writer and copyeditor for the university’s flagship publication, USD Magazine, and contributes to the daily online news service, Inside USD.

Sauer's professional experience extends over a decade in the fields of corporate copywriting, public relations and print journalism.
