Philip Garland is director of Annual Giving. Garland joined the annual giving team in 2006, having spent ten years working in the San Diego direct marketing community. During his time with Western Graphics, MailPro and P-Squared Direct Marketing, Garland's clients included the Zoological Society of San Diego, the University of San Diego, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Mama's Kitchen and other San Diego nonprofit organizations. Prior to moving to San Diego in 1995, Garland worked as operations manager for Worldcar International Ltd., an automotive export company, and as training manager, then assistant city manager for Budget Rent a Car of Manhattan.
