A a resident of San Diego for more than 49 years, Judy Eppler owned Judy Eppler's Chevron and Foodmart in La Mesa, California for 15 years. Under her guidance the business became one of the top 13 Chevron stations in the nation. She initiated the Chevron Foodmart Dealers Association, a co-op purchasing group made up of 200 dealers in seven western states. During her 14 years on the board, she directed numerous conventions and tradeshows. Eppler has been a volunteer with schools, including St. Therese, Academy of Our Lady of Peace, University of San Diego High School, as well as with Girl Scouts, Little League, and Bobby Sox. She has been volunteering and fundraising for the USD baseball team for seven years. As a member of the University of San Diego's Torero Athletic Board, she has raised more than $650,000 for their athletic programs. Eppler came to USD as director of the corporate affiliations program, BusinessLink USD. She became director of Donor Relations in 2007.
