Elisa Lurkis has 10 years of experience as a professional fundraiser and grant writer. Prior to joining USD, Lurkis worked as the director of Development for the University of California's Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation. She has also held fundraising positions at the San Diego Museum of Man and the University of New Mexico. She is responsible for fundraising, alumni relations and building the profile for the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies.
