The Senior Class Legacy is a proud USD tradition and one of many ways to leave a behind a bit of heritage. Students who graduated before you — and didn’t even know you — were looking out for you. As a graduating senior now, you have a chance to help someone else experience what made USD such a great place for you. For more information about this year's campaign, please visit the Alumni Association's Senior Class Legacy site.
Here are ways you can do your part:
- Leave your legacy by making a gift of any size to the scholarship fund

Why should you give towards the
Senior Class Legacy Scholarship Fund?
"Philanthropy is one of the most important ways to give back to USD, and I believe in it wholeheartedly. The past four years at USD have given me an education, countless opportunities, and my best friends, and I want future Toreros to able to have those experiences too. Someone I will never know cared enough to help me attend USD with a scholarship, so I feel it's my turn to pay it forward. That's the kind of legacy I want to leave behind." - Kate Partynski '13
"In addition to the valuable instruction I have received at USD, I have also been given a great deal of opportunities and enjoyed so many remarkable experiences. I chose to give to Senior Class Legacy because I want future Toreros to have the same outstanding experience I have been afforded. Giving to Senior Class Legacy is an investment in incoming USD students; it’s an investment in the future of our great university.." – Jimmy Trumbull '13
"A college education is an invaluable experience, especially the opportunity of attending a university at the caliber of USD. I give to the Senior Class Legacy because I think it is a great opportunity to give back and help other students within our community, in appreciation of the incredible memories and experiences we are graduating with. The students of the University of San Diego have impacted my life and challenged me to seek my highest levels of success and happiness, and I am proud to see how, as a Senior Class, we can come together as an inspired community to help future Toreros seek those same goals." - Maya Mancuso '13
"Looking back on my four years at USD, I have not only been given a great education but life long friendships and memories. From my time in the dorms, to studying aboard, to living on the beach, each opportunity couldn't have happened without the support of my USD family. I believe everyone should be able to have the opportunities to share in the experience of USD. I give back, because I want to share my USD family. I found my home, now it's someone else's turn. - Samantha Gathmann '13
