The Senior Class Legacy is a proud USD tradition and one of many ways to leave a behind a bit of heritage. Students who graduated before you — and didn’t even know you — were looking out for you. As a graduating senior now, you have a chance to help someone else experience what made USD such a great place for you. For more information about this year's campaign, please visit the Alumni Association's Senior Class Legacy site.
Here are ways you can do your part:
- Leave your legacy by making a gift of any size to the scholarship fund
- Make your gift online. Suggested pledge: $25.00 per year for 4 years
- Turn in a Senior Class Legacy Scholarship postcard with your gift or pledge

Why should you give towards the
Senior Class Legacy Scholarship Fund?
"I very much believe in philanthropy. Giving back and paying it forward are simple ways to help someone else, who is in the position I was in four years ago. USD has not only given me scholarships and a great education, but the university has also given me a once in a lifetime experience. For me, the most important thing my scholarship allowed me to do was study abroad. I give back, because I want someone else to have the opportunities I had, I want to give future Toreros a chance." - Kim Norcia '12
"I give back to USD because I know how it feels to worry about paying for college. Without financial aid, my education would not be possible, but thanks to the kindness of those that give back to USD, I have been blessed with an amazing four years here. I donate to Senior Class Legacy so someone else will get that chance, too." – Mary Cannon '12
"After receiving the Senior Class Legacy scholarship as a freshman, I cannot express how honored I was to be a part of the legacy, and how much it meant for me to be able to continue my studies at USD. Although I had only been at USD for one semester, Senior Class Legacy made it clear that they wanted me to be a part of the USD community for four full years. Both USD and Senior Class Legacy place a value on the individual, and I am thrilled to pay it forward and help other individuals succeed and feel welcome at USD." - Bri Robell '12
