The University of San Diego is committed to assisting a diverse and talented student body with the cost of its education by providing the best financial aid package we can. To help us accomplish this goal, we need your support.
Financial aid consists of federal funding, family loans, student work and scholarships. Student need is increasing and available funding is decreasing. While scholarships and grants have accounted for approximately 70 percent of the available funds, decreased scholarship support is creating considerable concern. In need of special support are first-generation undergraduate and graduate students. We also have commitments to students in the sciences, technology, engineering and math fields, in which our country needs to show strength and growth.
By giving the gift of a scholarship, whether it is creating a new opportunity or helping to maintain an existing one, your generosity enables USD to provide a significant level of support for all of our students.
