JOURNALS
One keeps a journal to express
-
thoughts,
-
or personal ideas about events,
-
travels,
-
experiences,
-
meetings,
-
feelings,
-
situations that can be
-
surprising,
-
difficult,
-
painful
-
emotional
-
happy
-
memorable
-
influential
-
significant, etc.
A “literary journal” is
also supposed to
explore ideas and thoughts, as you travel through
texts, narratives, experiences of others,
and to document your feelings and reactions or
analytical thoughts about them.
Certain texts may evoke strong emotions or reactions
in you because of past or present experiences.
These reactions can also be related in your journals.
Confidentiality will be respected.
PRESENTATION OF JOURNALS
After reading the first batch of journals, I decided
that the best way to submit them would be the following:
Typewritten, double spaced. Please print them
and bring them to class or put in my mailbox.
Please use spell-check.
