Effective July 1, 2001, the university’s financial information systems converted to the Oracle E-Business Suite. The implementation of the Oracle systems affected many administrative processing functions including the migration to an electronic purchase requisition. Additionally, budget reports previously mailed through the inter-campus mail system have been replaced with real-time reports that must be accessed through your computer. The university’s Oracle implementation will take a number of years to complete with the end result being all administrative and student systems functioning from one relational database.
