The University of San Diego Family Business Forum has been working in support of San Diego's family businesses for more than a decade, and was one of the first six organizations of its kind in the nation. The USD forum's sole purpose is to enhance the strength and survivability of your family owned and managed business and others like yours, here in San Diego.
There are several outstanding reasons to join the University of San Diego Family Business Forum. Here are some that set our Family Business Forum apart from similar organizations:
- We provide experienced, professional experts and educational tools that have proven to enhance San Diego's family business' harmony and well-being for more than a decade.
- We allow an UNLIMITED number of working family members to attend monthly meetings and participate in other events – all under one membership. (Other organizations only allow one representative, such as the owner or President of a company to participate.)
- We offer professional development opportunities tailored to family business concerns and challenges.
- We have formed strategic alliances between business, education, government and service groups within the community.
- We hold monthly 'Peer Advisory Group'" meetings where each generation can discuss their unique challenges, share, and brainstorm to reach solutions without judgment.
