One of the best parts about being a Torero is living in one of the residence halls. USD’s stunning 180-acre campus sits on top of a mesa flanked by panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and San Diego’s dynamic cityscape. Students have the opportunity to access such an atmosphere while living on campus beyond just their freshman year. Many USD students choose to live on campus during their entire time as a student – and even choose to stay year round.
Freshman, returning, transfer, law and graduate students alike have the ability to live on campus. As a student resident, you’ll have immediate access to resident faculty members as well as professional community directors, resident ministers and undergraduate-student resident assistants (RA's) who are committed to enhancing your academic, social and spiritual growth.
Even better than the campus’ beauty are the lifelong relationships that are built while living in one of the residence halls. Whether you’re making connections in our new Living-Learning Communities, heading to a BBQ with friends in Manchester Village or soaking up the Southern California sun, the fun and friendly environment guarantees that there’s always something to do, and someone to do it with.

the residence hall has been a fantastic experience. It's truly
