What inspires you? Ignite your sense of purpose and passion at the first Idea Lab of the 2014-2015 season by hearing Tiffany Persons, founder of Shine on Sierra Leone, share how she has strived to promote positive social change. Shine on Sierra Leone is an innovative non-profit organization that actively raises awareness for Sierra Leone’s incredible needs and creates sustainable programs to promote thriving self-sufficient communities and rich cultural experiences in both Sierra Leone and the United States. This Idea Lab is sponsored in partnership with the Changemaker Hub, Office of Community Service Learning, and the Kroc School of Peace Studies.

The Idea Labs Series is a catalyst for innovation and entrepreneurship at the University of San Diego. The Idea Labs were created to prepare and guide students to enter the Social Innovation Challenge. Social entrepreneurs from business and non-profit arenas are invited to share their stories, advice, and knowledge with aspiring student entrepreneurs.

Lunch is provided.
