Details

Tanya Susoev and Kristen Kuriga, Masters students in the Peace and Justice Studies Program, invite you join to them for an interactive presentation on the role of art in community building and peacemaking.

The presentation will present findings from a semester of field research based on three community projects: a mural project bringing together homeless youth and students from the University of San Diego, a mural project at the Sweetwater Zen Center, and experiences from the Youth, Art and Action Peace Delegation to Colombia.

Expect art, fun, and a multi-media presentation. Feel free to bring your lunch.
