The DBA of luxury goods and legal issues is a 3-year executive program that provides students at the Ecole de Commerce International et Marketing à Paris (ESGCI) with a doctorate in business administration (DBA). It is the world’s first and only DBA specializing luxury industry marketing (with a specialty in legal issues). The program is overseen by business professor Dr. Marcel Saucet, who teaches at the University of San Diego (USD) School of Law every summer as a visiting professor.

In partnership with the ESGCI, USD School of Law hosts on-campus seminars in the summer, allowing students at ESGCI to study in San Diego and experience Southern California, and current USD School of Law students to learn more about the legal issues associated with luxury goods in the United States.

Four academic seminars will be hosted at USD School of Law the week of June 11, including presentations from USD School of Law Professors Adam Hirsch, and Ted Sichelman, adjunct professor Dana Robinson and visiting professor Marcel Saucet. ESGCI student Michel Chalhoub, who is currently enrolled in the DBA program in Paris, will also present his research Friday, June 15.

For more information on the seminars, please email Professor Saucet at marcelsaucet@sandiego.edu
