5998 Alcala Park San Diego, CA 92110

The Phoenix Torero Club invites you to join them for an afternoon of giving back through a community service event.

This afternoon gathering will take place at St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance. Founded in 1967, St. Mary’s is the world’s first food bank. The idea came to founder John van Hengel when he was volunteering at St. Vincent DePaul, serving dinner to those in need. Today, St. Mary's Food Bank is one of the largest Food Banks in the United States. Volunteers will be helping to pack emergency food boxes.

Volunteers MUST wear:

  • Closed-toe shoes (sneakers suggested)
  • Shirts need to be short or long sleeved (No tank tops, spaghetti straps, sleeveless, midriff or low-cut tops)
  • Pants, jeans preferred

Our volunteer shift begins at noon but please join us at 11:00 a.m. for lunch at the volunteer center hosted by the USD Alumni Association and the Phoenix Torero Club.

We look forward to seeing you!

Space is limited, so please sign up as soon as possible.
