FUSO’s (Filipino “Ugnayan” Student Organization) 3rd Annual Ugnayan Conference is set to take place on November 9, 2013 at the University of San Diego. This year’s Ugnayan Conference is entitled: “Standing Together, Making the Change.”
This year marks FUSO’s 20th year of existence. As we, FUSO, move towards becoming a social justice organization, this year’s Ugnayan Conference focuses on social justice and cultural intersectionality. We hope to bring about the awareness that acts of social injustice do happen and we shouldn’t stand for them. These acts of intolerance do not just target one specific group, it happens to all of us, regardless of our race, gender, or religious beliefs. Together, we can take a stand against them. What do you stand for?
