San Diego Economy is Sound, USD Index Says

U-T San Diego -- San Diego County's economy expanded in September after a blip in August, says a report released Wednesday by the University of San Diego.
The report, called the San Diego Index of Leading Economic Indicators, shows that the region's economy has been positive in all but three months since September 2011. It concludes that the economy is sound.
Released by USD's Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate, the index is a calculation of key economic indicators. They were overall up 0.6 percent in September, for a total measurement of 122.3. (Full Story)
