Faculty collaborate one-on-one with undergraduate and graduate students on research, scholarship and creative activity, allowing students to experience the excitement of original discovery.
Our students strive for academic excellence and take great pride in serving their communities. At USD, students learn to think critically, act globally and work collaboratively to achieve their full potential.
USD has an active, thriving campus community. In addition to its sublime setting — enhanced by an average 300 days of sunshine each year — USD offers students an abundance of academic programs, facilities and resources.
From the moment you step on our beautiful campus you can see that USD is exceptional.
Relay for Life
|Event Start Date||Friday, March 30, 2012 – Saturday, March 31, 2012|
USD’s College Against Cancer club and Relay for Life executive board would like to invite you to this year’s third annual Relay for Life benefitting the American Cancer Society.
Cancer knows no boundaries and has forever affected countless lives, including many of those here on our very own USD campus. However, as one community, we can fight back together and empower others that they can do just the same. In this way, your participation will honor those who have lost their battle with cancer, provide hope to those who are still courageously fighting, and acknowledge those who have won the battle.
USD Relay has helped administration, faculty, staff and students unite through a fun and powerful expression of faith in the fight against cancer and our determination to win. For 24 hours starting on March 30 at 6pm, we can all forget about our differences, our struggles, our pains, and come together for one common purpose that is much bigger than all of us: to fight back and save lives.
