USD's Mortar Board National Senior Honor Society Chapter is now accepting applications for the 2012-2013 school year. Are you a full-time junior with at least 60 units? Are you academically ranked in the top 35 percent of the junior class (3.3 GPA and above)? Are you experienced in scholarship, leadership, and service? If so, you are invited to be considered for membership in the Mortar Board, Alcala Chapter. Admission into Mortar Board is extremely competitive and only a limited number of students may be selected.
Students who meet the above criteria are invited and encouraged to attend an informational meeting to ask questions about membership or about the selection packet. The postmark deadline for all applications is Monday, February 13. Those selected will be "tapped" for membership in class between March 19-23.
